I'm still happy with my 512mb. I've often thought about buying another stick of 512mb but as I play hardly any games I don't really see the point. If my machine does begin to slow down in the future though the first thing I'll be doing is installing new RAM. :)

Yeah.  But reinstalling Windows always helps A TON.  You'll be surprised if you do it without any hardware change.

ytea my comp has 2 512 sticks of ram ,so it has 1 gig and it really make a difference speed wise

im thinking of upgrading to 1 gig in my dell. does it make it run like super rad?

It depends on what you do with the computer. If you are gaming it would be wise to upgrade to 1GB. If you just browse the internet and stuff 512MB is fine.

well my dell doesnt have internet, so i only program and game on it, how much of a performance increase would i get in B&W2 from it.

btw on subject of b&w2 why does no-one benchmark that game! it is so demanding!
