i'm upgrading my comp, and i'm getting an asus a8n-sli....i see most ppl have the deluxe version, but premium has AI which enables easy switching from single gpu to dual gpu, is that the only difference? and if it IS better, then why do most ppl have deluxe and not premium? and also, in some stores i found the deluxe more expensive than the premium, anyone know why??

I highly do not recommend buying an ASUS motherboard. Go for the MSI K8N-Neo4 SLI, ABIT AN8 SLI, or EpoX EP-9NPA+SLI.

Premium has NV RAID:
  • RAID0
  • RAID1
  • RAID0+1
  • JBOD
Deluxe has Dual RAID:
  • RAID0
  • RAID1
  • RAID0+1
  • JBOD
  • The Silicon Image Controlle has another 4 SATA connectors for RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, and RAID10

So, if you're into RAID, then the Deluxe is the way to go. :)
