there is one thing i found about duel core that rocks. Win XP splits 50% of each task to each core. or 5% or 1% what ever it needs to run it. If a program locks up instead of it useing 100% of the CPU like it did with single core it only uses 50% of each core and once it used 60 % of each core. But it left enough oppen that i could quickly close them out with task manager.
