Macwords is traditionally about hardware, and with the recent iPod shuffle around I cant see anything iPod coming, and I cant really see an iPhone or maybe a Set Top Box, so I think it may well be a new mac coming our way.
I see Macworld bringing the first completely new Mac since 2005, when we were all introduced to the mini. As all eyes are trained on the possibilities of iPhone and iPods, I think Steve will take us in a different direction, giving us a day filled with Leopard and Macs, saving the music stuff for an event further down the road.
And now that the bugs are worked out and the road is paved with Xeon and Core 2 Duo chips, I think it's time for the first real stunner of the new Mac era.

there has been rumors of the iTV and iPhone going around. Right now, none are sure what is going to happen, but whatever it is, it will be significant for apple.
