Apple today announces here that none of their software is compatible for Windows Vista, and that they will be releasing patches in the coming weeks. Complaints are rife in the Apple Support Forums and this news from apple, officially today confirms compatibility issues with all of their products.
Some Apple software applications are designed to run on certain versions of Microsoft Windows. The table below lists Apple software applications and the version(s) of Windows on which each is supported.
No Vista in the newly released compatibility table! That includes not only iTunes, but QuickTime, Airport For Windows, Bonjour For Windows, iDisk utility and AppleWorks for Windows. All of those applications or utilities are listed by Apple as compatible with Windows XP and earlier versions of Windows, but not Vista.
It makes no mention of when Apple may work out Vista compatibility for the other products. A QuickTime user reported in the Apple support forum that QuickTime "works fine on Media Center 2005 but crashes intermittently on Media Center Vista."
