I'm just tired of this place. Pull the plug and ban me already. Ban this account, ban all my IPs and delete all my posts (since you do that already)

Just end it.

Sadly for you iVirtua does not just ban people, only if they break the rules, we'll keep this account open just incase you feel like coming back and joining us again.

Dear Members,

iVirtua can not just delete your account and ban Ip's. This is due to customer and service policy agreements.

When a member signs up to iVirtua they are agreeing to different terms and conditions.

Sorry, no members will be delete, unless iVirtua's Directors and Managers have real reason to do so. Even then they have you explain why they have removed a member from our online community.

Oh, really? But they don't have to explain why they deleted or edited a post?

Your online policy is a sham!!

First of all, if anyone BOTHERED TO READ my post, I said nothing of deletion of my account. I want PERMANENT BANISHMENT from iVirtua.

Second, I get really tired of this BS that some sites throw around like 'We can't delete your account because we have a shitty-ass (hehe) system.

I swear, in the next version of Mac GUI. I will be able to delete accounts, and members will be able to delete their own accounts. The system will delete all their posts, their comments, their pics, their blog, their email account, their web hosting, subdomain, and FTP,  all traces GONE!! Because this 'we can't delete your account' rubbish is a load of smelly bollocks!

not that i want to get into this imo quite naive little argument that's going through i dunno about 3 topics now but as a developer i guess i'll just throw in my 2 cents, take it how you wish i'm not really affected.

matter of fact is that we can delete accounts just it causes silly problems especially if people later on wish to return. its a much better system to let the account become deemed "inactive" then to delte teh account. if someone then wishes to return to the site they can do so without further administrational interference.

simply put the system can cope, phpbb2.0.22 (and therefore iVirtua 4 as a modded version of phpBB2.0.22) has full functionallity for the administration to delete a user's account. this then removes the user row, user posts (resets them as guests), pms and any other user -related information. this however provides no simple "way-back" system so i personally frown upon the use of the feature.

... good for you, why would i wanna know that? you suggest in other topics that the iVirtua execs are trying to setup a rivallry, to me it sounds like your trying to boast off your own site against iVirtua.

so that' my view done....
