I also included RAMBUS RDRAM, but there is no point seeing that it is part of a dying breed.

Corsair is fast as in speed, but their latencies suck! Kingston on the other hand is excellent and cheap also.

Dont think Latencies matter or make a difrence. Cant tell you how many times i have seen 2.5 3 3 7 ram out bench 2 2 2 5 ram . I think it realy depends on how your system is set up. I have not seen any ram i have tried bench as high as my corsair.

I've seen OCZ DDR466 @ 2.5 3 3 7 outperform OCZ DDR400 @ 2-2-2-7. But I feel if you can OC the DDR400, you will outperform the DDR466.

Ya know what my corsair DDR 400 PC 3200 with heat sinks ties in benchmarks to my DDR 434 PC 3500. THere is no difrence in speed. both are over clocked to same speed. very little benifit to paying more. Wish i cad just cept pc 3200 ram.

Seeing that all the above is to expensive here I cannot afford it, did get some Samsung once on advice from the shop, but had to take it back as it would not boot, got some cheep Crucial instead and still running, not in this machine but in another, this memory I am running now is off the self stuff that my new Shop said would run in Dual mode and it did and is still going strong, would have to take it out  to find what it is, I know it is not any of the above just some cheep brand that has no sticker on it lol, so I can only vote for Crucial as this is the only branded name I have ever had.

I think any brand can run Dual Channel Mode. But if it's made for dual channel, then you will probably get better performance.
