From what I have seen cheap ram running in duel channel mode benches at a lower speed then true duel channel ram . It pays to spend a little extra for better. Opens the door for better over clocking.

I agree.
I guess all companies have great Ram's, but I would have to put OCZ # 1 due to the fact that they have fast speed's with low latencies for a good $$$.
I'm now cooling my DDR500, but still getting stable peob's when trying to OC higher than 2.60 GHz in Sync with DDR ;)
I think any brand can run Dual Channel Mode. But if it's made for dual channel, then you will probably get better performance.
RAM does not need to be \"made for dual channel.\" All those dul channel kits are is amarketing thing. You can take two identical sticks of RAM bought seperately and run them in dual channel without any change in performance at all.
As for the poll I picked OCZ as they have great support and have a lot of good RAM that OC's well. I don't really have a preference though. I buy w/e is a good price, that overclock well. G.Skill is top in TCCD and Mushkin Redline is top in UTT so it is kind of hard to pick one.
