You are correct, why did I pick Asus.

I'm waiting for the ATI chipset which is said to be better than the nForce 4.
I hope ATI also comes out with SATA2.

abit is known to have very reliable boards for decent prices (such as the abit nf7) but i have an msi right now...running me perfectly fine and has a lot of diff features (such as DOT, Dynamic Overclocking Technology)

Tyan still rules, but Tyan mostly makes *server* boards. Tyan was actually the first company EVER to create an SLI motherboard, but of course it was for servers. Tyan made it LONG AGO way before Asus ever made their A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard.

I had  GIGABYTE GA-K8NSU-939 nF3 250U ATX 2 weeks ago. Could not get higher than a 6% over clock on it.
