Now, that sounds nice. That is worth waiting for. But how Much? $$$$
but that's the one w/SLI and not RAID5, and then i would be tempted to get a 6600gt and then in about a month i would want ANOTHER 6600gt hooked up to SLI and i would be broke as a mofo lol
but yah..i heard a lot of good things about DFI's mobo, pretty stable too but out of them all...i think ASUS has the best
RAID5 is not very useful, at least for me. It requires 3 drives to implement, but has high disk efficiency. Independent disks with parity 'blocks.' Also, it does not increase speed output unlike RAID0.

Raid 5 is not as fast as Raid 0 stripping, but Raid 5 is faster than just keeping your drive @ stock.
Very good setup.
2 x 250GB Maxtor w/16MB cache in RAID 0 2 x 200GB Maxtor w/16MB cache in RAID 0 (Getting in 2 to 3 weeks or so) 1 x 160GB WD w/8MB cache for plain Back-Up.
Install Windows XP 64-Bit Edition on the 250's & Win XP Pro on the 200's.
I like Formatting & re-installing a fresh copy of these OS's every 2 to 3 months while using my back-up HD for all my important files.
It takes me as little as 15min +/- 5min to install Win XP Pro & 20min +/- 6min to install the 64-Bit OS.
2 maxtors with 16 meg cash in raid 0 beet 2 raptors in raid 0.
Are you sure? :hmm:
If it is true, the 10,000RPM will make more difference in games than 16MB cache.
I know 2 Maxtors with 16MB cache are fast in Raid 0 with that new technology from NVIDIA for there nForce 4 Ultra chipset's but Raptors have a way faster seek time which will make a strong difference in Raid 0.
