I got the best sound system of all of you, for the least amount of $$$. I got a Pionneer stereo reciever from 1995, free from my neighbors, which has some old school dolby surround (4.1) and 5.1 (but the back speakers suck when its on 5) but only stereo input. No idea how that works but whatever. It has 50 watts per channel and i got these speakers for about 5 bucks, including a huge a** sub, it was 50, then i had a gift card from christmas and then i used some other christmas return money. So I have my PC, Turntable (it plays those old big record things) and my mac, and it has a radio tuner built in. Talk about kick a**. :D Cost me a total of like 25 bucks, cause I had to buy some headphone port to RCA port adapters and a cable or two. Beat that for a ghetto sweet sound system.
ya i have the same on board sound as you. the SB 2 ZS plat sounds quite a bit better.
Well, I'll look into getting an Audigy Pro or something. It all depends on which mobo I am planning to get. Probably the DFI due to the 2.1v VCore & 4.0v Ram.
