Sim City 4 Rush Hour is the best City Building Sim yet, with no competition, and is the best game from Maxis, creator of The Sims (noooooooooo!)
With lush graphics and advanced simulation controls, it in now in its 4th version, and maxis is currently developing spore (www.spore.ea.com), a game where you control evolution, a mix of all maxis sim games (the Sims, simcity and the pre 2000 games!)
But Now…..
Introducing Tycoon City New York…
Published by Atari and developed by Deep Red, considering that most city building Sims offer a blank fictional canvas to build in your masterpiece, it seems awfully brave of deep red to choose an accurate reconstruction of NY as the topic of nits latest effort.
But as I can see from previews, you do not get to start from the ground up, and mould the city as you would like – starting off small in Greenwich Village and then moving through the districts to create the city of your dreams, you can do pretty much whatever you like within the framework of Manhattan.
The whole island is your playground, but its to the developers credit such a detailed version of the area.
Hey don't diss the sims The Sims 2 Series is the best of that game. But I agree Not many games come close to the ever popular Sim City 4 but there have been alot of attemps and different Ideas on city building games however.
