Ok I'm going to try to use some cold cathodes to add a little flair to my room.  I have some pictures of examples that I'll put at the end.

What do I need to power the cathodes? I'm going to buy them from here: http://xoxide.com/coldcathodes.html and I don't know what they plug into.  I've never worked with lights before.  I think I need some sort of power supply (with a switch preferably so I can turn them off) and then plug the cathodes into it and mount them in different places.

either you goto radio shack and get a bunch of AA battery packs or you make/get a DC to AC adapter so you can plug them into the wall.

I found out they run off of 4 pin molexs so I'm buying a blue lighted power supply to power them.

Here are my parts so far:

Light Controller: http://xoxide.com/sunbeam-chameleon-light-...ller-black.html
Cathodes: http://xoxide.com/bluecathode.html
PSU: http://xoxide.com/sunbeam-uvblue-450-mdpsu.html

I know the PSU is more than enough for this but I will be expanding alot and I might use this for many stuffs.

This is gonna turn out well. Why not fabricate a PCI Backplate with an audio socket in it, and connect a female molex to it (inside your case). Then you could connect your PSU's molex to the female one, and power the cathodes via audio cable and plug it into your computer with the bracket.
