hey super.. you know you want the OCZ.. it's calling you!
SUPER! SUPER! this is your memory calling!!
make that 2 OCZ fan-boys B)
Here is my new DFI & ATI Radeon X800 XL. For some reason the DDR Voltage is locked @ 2.60v?!?! SO I am stuck with a DDR333 for now, & which reflex performance as you can see by my low results. http://img182.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img182&image=mvc023s1rl.jpg
6800 gt stock gets 5550 3dmark05 and 12500 3dmark03. Think you need to get that ram back up some how.
Yes, I agree. My system is taking a beating with that low Ram bandwidth.
Oh, I also found that my Western Digital 160GB IDE HD was causing stalls & instability when benchmarking for some reason. So I took it out completely, and I'm just using the 2 fast Maxtor 250GB SATA drives right now. That 16MB buffer cache with the SATA sure make a big difference in HD performance.
I can Raid 0 them no problem, but when I want to instal Win XP Pro on them, it shows them as 2 seperate HD's & not as the Raid 0.
There is a performance bios out right now. I'm going to update the BIOS. Plus that Memory Test in the Bios, I do not have it for some reason, so I probably have the original bios or something.
took chris 2 weeks to over clock his. wonder how long its going to take super.
Well, I have already OC'ed the CPU to 2.70GHz & 2.80GHz.
The 2.80GHz eventually crashed while benchmarking 3D Mark 2005, but ran O.K. @ 2.70GHz. But there is a problem & I am going to solve it no matter what.
That problem is that when I OC the CPU, I cannot OC the RAM. No matter what latencies I put the Ram on. A few people do have the same problem, but I will solve it.
It dose. The problem is it has 20 million setings and each one must be ajusted.
I agree, you cannot just change one setting & wish for the best. For me to adjust the HTT from 200 to say 210, I need to adjust another 10 to 15 settings which most of the time do not work.
