Hi all, I was trying to run Everest Home Report and PC Wizard 2005, but both of these programs froze when Collecting System Summary and System Analyzing respectively. I've tried remove my Audigy from the mobo, remove one of the RAM sticks, updated all the drivers, disable some devices in Device Manager, nothing works. Please help.

Do not use Everest & PCWizard concurrently. As in if Everest is installed, then uninstall PCWizard. These 2 programs seem to have trouble working with each other. <_<

not true. I use them  together and have no problems .

Also my friend storm had this happen to everest before PC wizard was ever installed.

Hes got a hardware or software instability.

I would try tweeking memory timings. this works so well for me. To h**l with bios picking my setings. I am better at it.

Might work for you, but most computers I've seen with both don't work properly.

Plus Everest is much more extensive than PCWIzard. :r:

Listen Nemesis, I had Everest and PC Wizard both seperately installed, when I had Everest installed I didn't have PC Wizard installed, and vice versa, I didn't have both of them at the same time.

Adjust it using BIOS settings. Most likely, requiring overclocking of CPU.  :ermm:

If he has his system overclocked, then software problems can result from hardware failure....

well #1 killer of software is driver hanging in a loop from uneven math in CPU.

And to rectify that problem is to probably do a complete format & a nice fresh instal of the OS.

Then you can start all over with new fresh drivers.

No, reinstalling won't help the cpu to be more even or accurate.
