why did ddr2 even get made for commercial use if it sucks soo bad?
on the topic of hardrives i think its time to move on from magnetic disks and make YOUR BRAIN THE HARDRIVE MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Well, Intel is probably to blame. I mean, look @ ATI & NVIDIA? They released several DDR graphics cards, and 1 or 2 DDR2 graphics cards. And now they both have a wide assortment of DDR3 or should I say GDDR3. There is a difference between DDR3 & GDDR3, but I do not know it right now.
And right now, AMD is coming out with a new socket called Socket AM2 w/ DDR2 support. IMO AMD should of skipped DDR2 & went straight to DDR3.
And now ATI is releasing there new R580 core with GDDR4, LOL,
