Pfft I think the whole world has a tendency to dislike America for many, many reasons....my opinion is that for the most part (aka anywhere but the southern states) America is okay....just!

Besides I live in the UK and its becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish it from America so I am going to embrace the insanity.

im from the u.s. (and one of those southern states TEXAS) i mean i can honestly tell y so many ppl in the world hate us, but sometimes i think it would be a lot easier just to live some place else

I spent a lot of time in TN so I have had my fill of Southerners, but no offence was meant

I live in Florida. A southern state. I find that we can be cocky and arrogant when it comes to foreigners and quick to judge. But I find that the foreigners that come here and look at us in ways have problems of there own. So basically no one phases me.

But seriously this can cause some pretty nasty debate. Destined to get ugly, lets see who can hold their dignity.

I immigrated over to washington from canada. I didn't like USA at all first, but now I don't really care. The world can suck no matter where you are, you can't escape the suckiness. So I just do my own thing and pay attention to what is happening but I don't want to cause to much trouble.

You will find dirt anywhere on any country because its what the surface of the planet is made of.

I love this country and would die defending it. People who hate this country for what our elected government does over the course of five years can go to hell.

where else do you have such a large variety of different nationalities living in ONE country...there are also so many job opportunities, which is the sole reason my parents even moved here

as for the rest of you, you shouldnt even have an opinion on us because you only know a small percentage of what goes on here.

It's called news. I happen to read it. Stuff like say, reuters, the new york times. I am quite able to have an opinion. Biznatch. And besides, I like being Biased. Oh and as my ammunition, I simply wish to say that America has George W Bush. That is all.

I wouldn't begin to think that I could comment on other countries based on news alone. I don't see why everyone thinks they should for America.

I like the United States of America with the ideas of freedom and union of the perfect democracy, but this is currently just the Fascist State of America, that is what I hate. AKA, the current US I hate since the government is being dumb and people are not rising up against it.

Because we're not idiotic extremists, we're a stable and civilized nation, and we know that in one year, we will be able to re-elect our leaders getting rid of this so-called fascist government.

One nice thing about this "Fascist" government is that they more or less give a shit about the military. Which I'm a member of.
