My uncle used to run a small chain of printers and a single larger dedicated printing house and he didn't go anywhere near the numbers he left it to his underlings and accountant so he couldn't be linked to any cockups. I think almost all businesses do it once they reach a certain size as it's just common sense really not to land yourself in the shit.
