E3 2007 Nintendo Press Conference Wii Zapper Presentation http://www.gametrailers.com/game/1656.html "A new peripheral that will have you shooting zombies and bad guys like a pro."

Is the newly-revealed attachment a gimmick or an integral part of gameplay? Capcom has the attachment on display at their mini-booth in the Barker Hanger at E3 and we were able to run through a demo of Resident Evil: Umbrealla Chronicles with the peripheral.

I'm voting gimmick.  I heard the IGN complaining that with all the extra plastic, you can't feel the Wiimote's rumble motor very well, which really undermines the feeling of feedback when you fire the weapon.

You know that's not as bad as people were making out, it kinda looks like a lot of fun and it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to hold....shame I hate fps and the like

I don't see why they had to tie it to the nunchuck. I just cant see any benefit to it.
