I keep my script debugging turned on, with display notification about every script error activated, because I like to tweak my own scripts so much. And it usually displays an error on iVirtua pages. The section that causes the error is currently line 419 (it used to be 5??), and the section around that line is:
Code:
414 <!-- End Headers --><script type="text/javascript"    src="ajax/ajax_topicfunctions.js"></script>
415 <script type="text/javascript">
416 <!--
417 is_viewtopic = 1;
418 highlight = '';
419 vote_max = ;
420 l_max_poll_option = '';
421 max_poll_option = ;
422 //-->
423 </script>

As you can see, the error is probably that vote_max is being set to nothing, and if the javascript didn't stop at that, it would pick up another error when max_poll_option is also set to nothing.

When previewing this post, I got another error at line 2:
Code:
 1 <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
2
3        "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Looks like it doesn't like the DOCTYPE to be split.

Okay, the last error was taken care of, now I have a new one for you. If I try to highlight something in order to copy it, instead everything from the top of the page to the point where I want to start copying is highlighted. This is not good!

I've tried looking through the HTML code, but can't see anything there that would cause this, so I assume the problem is in the PHP coding.

Also, while those creepy guys at top now seem to load more quickly, the rest of the page below it delays, to take a noticeably long time to load. The ads between postings seem to be the objects causing the hold-up, but I'm not certain of that.

I am working on improving caching of the php to solve the generation time problems. The ads are now managed through one system which in theory should speed things up, but as they rely on javascript they will be a little slow.

The highlight don't quite understand by what you mean, as I cant seem to get the same problem.

JS Errors have been fixed.

I don't know how to explain it much better. If I put my cursor on the X below, hold down the left mouse button, and drag it to the Y, everything from the top banner down to the X will become highlighted, but everything right and below the X will remain un-highlighted.

X
           This is only visible when highlighted
Y

Also, today I logged on to pick up a private message. The "User Control Panel" at the top read: "Preferences and Edit Profile • Friends • Live Chat • There is 1 competition open •You have no new messages • Search • Log out [ OwenKL ]"
Which was in error, since I did have a new message. Also, how come the "competition" item is bolded? The only thing there is a test question (with poor grammar, yet!). What types of competitions will it support, and how could I put something in there if I wanted to?
