Im not too big on benchmarking we all know its a load of bollocks anyway, its only usefull for testing out overclocks even then the stress test in CS:S is quicker and better than aquamark, 3D mark and friends because it gives a closer representation of gaming performance.
I would have to disagree. I think 3Dmark tests are priceless for gaming. Gives me a good idea what direction to go on my over clocks. Also priceless to see how stable my over clock is in 3D gaming.
Thats not the point. All im saying is they are pricless for testing for stable overclocks. But how in gods name do you figure ATI has more power in direct X ? I think your dead wrong. from the Direct X benchmarks in PC wizard 2005 Nvidia pull ahead.
