Any of you here speak a different language? Have any experiance in one? Taking any classes? Post your talents here.  B)

I am taking spanish in high school only because many colleges require you to have foreign language credits. I also know a small amount of Japanease.

I did take French class back in 7th and 8th grade, and after I got a 97 on the final I dropped it. I could either get 3 credits for a foreign language or 5 credits in business classes (computer and stuff). I chose to do the business classes since I hated French.

I've taken Spanish since grade 7 (in grade 11 now) but mainly because my parents have wanted me to so I haven't learned it too well.

That isn't good to hear. You should choose a language that you like. My parents wanted me to choose Spanish as well, but I chose Latin against their wishes..

If we had latin at my school I would have chosen that, but we only have French and Spanish, and I'm more likely to use Spanish in the United States.

True, but Latin helps quite a bit for SAT and for English.

Many english words have lating roots, so it would help for defining words and things like that.
