Visitors to Manchester's currently ongoing Futuresonic 2006 festival had a rare opportunity to see a keynote by Electroplankton creator Toshio Iwai giving a run-down of his life's work in various media, including the artworks that would go on to inspire some of the DS' various anthropomorphic instruments.
For those unable to make it, though, art and tech blogger Chris O’Shea of PixelSumo was in the audience and has provided via YouTube his own shaky-cam video of the lecture, which culminated in another demonstration of his upcoming Tenori-on. And, for those who prefer the horse's mouth, Iwai himself has created a blog focusing on all of his recently released works, including a special message for Europeans to mark the domestic release of Electroplankton.
