my brother had a logitec wirlesss mouse and keyboard set he got for like $60 and he didnt even bother to game on it, the response time on the wireless mouse sucked, so i like wired.
Predator, wireless mice/keyboards do not run on WiFi. There are three ways that the devices communicate: RF (Radio Frequency), IrDA (Infrared), and Bluetooth. My set is RF, and they are problematic if someone near you has the same mouse, and are running on the same frequency. This trouble has arisen in the RC toys world, and new Radios (Transmitters and Receivers) come with either a digital frequency changer or interchangable crystals so that you can have many more players active at one time because there are no frequency clashes. Just a little note ; ).

What I meant was if the mouse would interfere w/ WiFi connections. I know that mouses don't run on WiFi.

Mice that don'n't run on WiFi technology cannot and will not interfere with WiFi connections. LAN parties shouldn't run over WiFi anyway, especially if you're gaming.
The MX518 is *slightly* more comfortable, and is a bit cheaper. It has 400 less DPI, But I can hardly notice the difference between 800 and 1600, so, whatever.
The MX518 also runs fully without drivers, where the G5 requires some somewhat bloated software to achieve full 2000 DPI (from what I've heard).
