In a way, NVIDIA has an advantage since it has time to make changes to their architecture since they release their product 2-3 months after ATI.

there not in a hurry. will be next year before we see a game large enouf to need a 24 pipe 512 meg card. I think they will take there time and do it right.

as for this moron in HWA who thinks ATI is just killing nvidia and has sence and i quote 9700 pro. ATI has never been ahead in this its been a very close race and dose not show a sign of changing any time soon. each have strong points about there cards.

I agree LOL, let them kill themselves LOL  :woot:

I really have loads of respect for the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro This card was amazing, before I replayed it with an X800 XL ;)

Now I played HL2 with my 9700 Pro & the performance was great. I even played DOOM 3 for months with this card with no problems. I had my setting on medium quality, but that was O.K.

May the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro live again with the new R520
