Earthbound fans have been dealt another jealous blow as the latest in Shigesato Itoi's slow reveal of his upcoming GBA sequel has announced a full Mother 3 deluxe package. Along with the game, Nintendo will be promoting the release with a limited edition Mother Micro -- after Final Fantasy IV, only the second game-specific hardware model since the handheld's release. The Micro is coated in the series' trademark shock of red and, unless Itoi's graphics crew are slipping in their duties, sporting what appears to be a well-worn, chipped and faded enamel scheme. Tying the release together with its own legacy, the package will also include a tactile copy of the in-game Franklin Badge item, which itself was a contest prize that accompanied Mother 2's release.
