So if you're in Scotland between the 11th and 15th of June and you see agroup of myopic, pigeon-chested, knock-kneed dweebs queuing outside Boots tofill their inhaler prescriptions and buy insect repellent and Star Wars plastersyou'll know what's going on.

The Microsoft Challenge UK is Europe’s largest andmost exciting inter-company challenge. By overcoming a series ofdiverse challenges, teams taking part in the event will learn about thepower of being a part of a team and also how to realise their potential- both mentally and physically.
Participants in the event will find themselvesrunning, mountain biking, canoeing, scaling cliffs, tackling assaultcourses or performing engineering tasks, thinking laterally and makingcritical decisions. Teams are made up of four competitors, up to twosubstitutes, and an executive. The teams are competing to win thecoveted Microsoft Challengers trophy, while helping to raise around£400,000 for the NSPCC (National Society for Prevention of Cruelty toChildren) annually.
