GIGABYTE GK-K8000 is the Worldwide 1st Mechanical Gaming Keyboard :thatpresents wide rage of features which includes Cherry mechanical keyswitch system, 103 profile macro editing feature, USB digital audio, and self-standing mechanism wrist rest.
Cherry key switchesallow up to 50~60 million keystrokes which gives you much longerproduct life. Furthermore, with laser-engraved printing, never have toworry about losing printing on keys to slow down your performance.
At the company's Spring Break event and Plug-Fest 2008,folks from Tweaktown were able to spend a few hurried minuteswith the GK-K8000 gaming keyboard. We're told that "design issues" wereholding 'em up from being released right now, but we get the impressionthat it's certainly nearing completion. Initial thoughts were thattyping felt great and the unit itself seemed mighty sturdy, but whytake our word for it? Hop on down to the read link for a few more snaps.
The fun goes on though, because you will have to install the softwareon a PC at some point to set up the profiles in the first place… but Idon’t think you’ll ever run out of them seeing as further 100 profilesare available through the software, which you can pre-load and assignto a profile button before unplugging the GK-K8000 and heading of tothe LAN RPC section.
Sadly, no news on when this’ll hit UK shores or how much it’ll be, so you’ll have to pop back and find out later.
