Greenpeace activists visited Apple's Fifth Avenue store Thursday night to shine green lights on the store as holiday shoppers looked on.
"Our holiday wish list is simple," Greenpeace states on its site. "All we want from Steve Jobs is a green Apple."
Apple recently dropped to last place in Greenpeace's most recent Guide to Greener Electronics that ranks the 14 top manufacturers of computers and cell phones according to their policies on recycling and toxic chemicals. Apple was eleventh out of the fourteen brands in Greenpeace's first edition of the guide released in August.
