Hey guys
there's a website that I've been trying to extract the video from.  The videos are streaming .swf videos.
Any ideas?

You could look at the source of the webpage to find the location of the SWF or you can just look in your temporary internet files.

Yeah look up the source, find the location of the SWF, make a hyperlink using this forum or something, preview, right click save target as, and it should work unless they have good security.

Wait, don't you have to make sure you have permission to save the video to your PC? I thought it was illegal in some places to do this without permission...

Well, technically when you browse the internet the files are saved in your browsers cache anyway. So, if it were illegal, how would we be able to view them?

I meant, saving them and redistributing them without permission.

Well, I'm not going to distribute them.
Anyways, yeah, I already tried the page source thing.  It won't let me view the page source

I know, it's weird.  The 'View Page source' option is greyed-out.
I'm using FF

Can you save the web page, then open it up in an HTML editor, and view the source code?

nope.
it saves it as a shockwave flash object - only like 13KBs, and made up of scrambled code.

I'm not sure, you might want the link removed... I'm not totally sure on the legality of it.

I am using Opera and it lets me view the source. Try a different browser.

Try clicking one of the videos - and then see if you can see the page source.
For example, if you click on http://tvlinks.voodeedoo.org/go.php?t...qr  you can't access the page source (at least with both FF and IE you can't).
