I'm buying that one most likely. I really wish my parents would allow me to build my own computer since I could get the most performance that way. Over time I'll probably get it upgraded.
I'm going to be using it for a lot of gaming and it has to be mobile and I think this is the best choice. Plus I can show it of and people will be like OMG ALIENWARE!!!11!
Anything with the name Alienware on it is good for gaming.
Agreed, though AlienWare is not good for the wallet...
I would recommend building your own. It would be much cheaper.
I agree wholeheartedly, except for gaming laptops. When you build your own, you are much more at risk with heat issues, especially with a fast gaming one.
I really wish I could build my own since that would be funner and it would be better performing but my parents won't let me in case I screw it up.
For a first build, I wouldn't go with a laptop. I don't think you'll have any problems making one, but it's best to build a desktop first. That way, you have much more experience with them. You learn a whole ton by building, and you'll probably find that you did stuff that would have done differently if you had known about it, which is easier to fix with a desktop.
