Yes, it does. Did you use it properly?

You have to configure your settings properly. Otherwise, you will surf with your normal IP address.

I have used the trial version, trust me, it works.

Hmm I'm not so PC smart how do you \"configure?\"

First of all, I would suggest downloading the free trial of GhostSurf, not GhostSurf Platinum.

Also, try this:
http://www.tenebril.com/kb/index.php?mode=...4&browse_from=3

Just to update, I received a PM from Jim, concerning your question. You might want to try what he suggested:

Quote:
He most have a static IP address. The IP you see that I use is *xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx., but I can if I want change it to one of my others IP?s that was allocated to me, he may have more then one, if he has then he will have to set the router up manually and place another IP in his Ethernet Card settings.

*Real IP Address hidden by me to maintain privacy

Oh crap. Actually I need more help. When the free trial ends, is there a way I can still use it free?

Is this for a website or a game/program?

For websites... you can use:

http://www.proxify.com
http://www.gibeo.net

(others can be found with google by searching for free proxy)

No. You will have to buy it after the end of the free trial.

Before I answer anything, let me ask you something. Why are you so worried about going through a proxy?

You don't need a program to use proxy server.  In fact its really quite easy.  Assuming you just want to mask your http IP adress then just go here

http://publicproxyservers.com

Find one that says anonomous and use the informations to the left and put it in your browser settings.

Firefox
Tools>Options>General>Connection Settings and imput the information in there.  You are now on a proxy server.

IE
Tools>Internet Options>Connection Settings>Lan Settings and do the same.
