The pc2700 Kingston ram 512mb should be O.K. providing that you have tight timings. Anything under PC3500 should have very tight timings for great performance.
If not then I would suggest something like the OCZ Dual Channel DDR400 @ 2-2-2-5 1T in 1024MB (512MB x 2) or anything with low latencies.
Basically the tighter the timings the more bandwidth you will get with DDR333,400,433. OR the faster Ram like DDR466 to DDR550 + the more bandwidth you will get, but with the loose timings.
The Kingston is great. When you upgrade, be sure to buy a HyperX. See if you can set up a deal with Kingston, where they give you a discount if you trade in old Kingston RAM for new HyperX RAM.
