My Opera on the downstairs computer keeps continuously crashing. And I've noticed that this happens whenever I have about 10-20 tabs open.

Anyone have any ideas?

Why would switching to a worse browser solve the problem at all?

Try less tabs? :P

Anyways does this happen right away or after they're open for a bit?

It won't.  I'm not suggesting going with IE.  I'm suggesting Firefox.

Because you're using Opera.

Keep an eye on memory usage.  See what it is when you have Opera open with 20 tabs for a while.  I'll bet it'll be pretty high.  If so, set it so it keeps less cache.  Maybe that will help.

Yes, Josh, I noticed that before you mentioned it. When I have 20 tabs open, it uses up about 120MB of my memory. Where do I adjust it so that I can use less cache?

Go to Tools>Preferences>Advanced tab.  In the 'History' section, try changing the Memory and Disk cache to lower.  See what that does.
