iVirtua International We are considering International language versions of iVirtua.
English Speaking Countries
UK and USA will be grouped under ivirtuaforums.com / iVirtua.co.uk - iVirtua.us nor iVirtua.ie we feel are not appropriate in creating cultural divides.
Europe
iVirtua EU: iVirtua.eu will be a European Union domain.
We need an administrating base country, which will most likely be either
Germany
Holland
Belgium What do you think?
Cultural differences and low user interest from other EU countries, such as eastern European countries, Scandinavian and France or Italy deem them not appropriate.
Asia (India)
Representing Asia most notably Bangladesh, India and Pakistan and Arabic countries will be a .in domain.
On a worldwide basis, Chinese or Japanese/asian language or site versions are also not appropriate.
iVirtua Domains:
English speaking: iVirtua.co.uk, ivirtuaforums.com Dutch/German speaking: iVirtua.eu and iVirtua.be, iVirtua.de or iVirtua.nl domain

so how exactly is this working ... is teh whoel community going to be split into its different areas and languages. are there going to be completely different boards for each region (site)? as a member of one site are you then a member GLOBALLY of iVirtua or just individually that single regional board?
ummm Sam why is Arabic the language in .in Domain . Arabic is Middle East Language. In the desi side (India and surrounding countries) there is very little people who speak Arabic and that would be mainly be people from Pakistan (due to religion) since Urdu is somewhat close to Arabic but not enough to speak or understand it fluently . For India, Bang and Pakistan you would be better off with Hindi/English. Hindi and Urdu although writing is different the pronouncing of each word is close. Another reason everyone knows Hindi is becoz Bollywood rules the Movie Industry in Desi Land
Also having Chinese/Jap site would be a good idea coz there are a lot of chinese/ Japanese people who spend time on forums but don't know how to speak english coz they never needed to.
PS: Isn't it better just to make iVirtua global and make forums for each country or something in that line?

Agreed. Afterall, the Japanese are tech leaders and China makes most of our electronics!
iVirtua would come in useful in Poland. In my country, there is one big community - Grono but it is not technical. In UK, there is a lot of IT communities but in Poland they lacks.
We are considering a dutch speaking forum, possibly .nl or .be. We are also considering japanese, though further research would need to be conducted, along with a polish forum and indian forum.
Come on guys get a grip, your to small this would never work. Put your resources into building a user base here, then expand. People barely post here what makes you think its going to work in other languages?
Its not a good business decision. Use your resources wisely.
Your branding doesn't even make sense, you have a website that is mainly game/geek related. Populated by by teenagers, yet you have pictures of business men in suits, it doesn't represent the user base.
Right up there you have a Game Arcade button and to the right a picture of business people, your not going to attract professionals with am arcade and topic about COD.
I wonder if this will get edited. Real professionals here people.
It certainly doesnt I have a considerable number of Belgian and Dutch users here, who have the NL language on their computer. That's shown in analytics - and would diversify the community significantly
I'm not sure why turck_mm you feel the need to make such comments - like any good community, we moderate to a high standard, and delete spam messages - it seems that every post that you ever made here could actually be considered as spam; therefore you hardly have the credibility to post any criticism - as well as posts made around the internet with your other internet names "dog_cow" and "mario_guy". If you have nothing positive to offer, I suggest you refrain from using the iVirtua Community.

Also, if you can't handle negative comments, then don't run a website or create anything. Everyone gets 'em. Maybe just stuff cotton inyour ears, then?
Oh yeah, and WarioLandMan was a handle I used to use too-- don't forget that one.
