So, I signed up for a NEW web design class coming in Aug/Sept 2007. I'm in one currently online for school, but it's only teaching us how to make web PAGES not actual web DESIGNS with content. So I figured I'd ask my fellow mates at iVirtua for a little insight.
Lets take http://kirupa.com for a peek (thanks DualFusion for the website for the PHP help). The background is a simple, yet sleek gradient. The foreground is sleek as well which seems to show little to no tables.
My question here is, HOW WAS THIS DONE?! I can see the header and background being done if Photoshop/Fireworks but how would you do the rest?! Would you do it in Dreamweaver? How would you go about making this complete layout.
ahh the fine art of CSS CSS is basically the core styling language and is used in most web designs that are any good . They most probably just get the gradient, make it thin length ways and the normal size in height, then use a repeatitive background to make it go all teh way across the sheet then used a solid colour behind it i'm not great at CSS, this is the sort of thing sam is actually good at
