Once I get this new computer built, I will need an operating system. I already have the XP install disk, and would be no problem to install. But, I would like into some alternatives. I have searched the net and found a Linux Distro that I find suitable for my needs(atleast, from what I can tell), Cedega.
While searching the 'Net, I also was looking for unbaised Linux vs. Windows arguements, less, I found none. I was wondering if you guys can give me the pros and cons of using Linux over Windows and vice versa.
Linux has no viruses or spyware. Windows does. Linux is open source; almost any bugs get fixed instantaneously. Microsoft takes much longer to fix Windows holes. Linux fully supports and uses 64-bit, Windows as of yet does not.
Windows supports more software than Linux. Windows supports the most games, photoediting programs, etc.

That is why I linked to Cedega, from what I can tell it will allow me to run games on it an exe files... although I am not a pro in all of that technical mumbo-jumbo. If anyone could check it out for me I would be gracious.
Wow. You're right, it does say that. I'm going to have to check that one out. That's the problem I've always had with linux, alot of games and other software can't run on it. It's great if that one enables them to.
