Anyone else use Macs here? I came back from the recycling centre yesterday with a mac g3. 300mhz with 192MB of RAM and Os9.2 installed on a 6GB Hard drive. Its in one of those powermac cases, blue and white. I'm posting this asking if anyone has the same or a similar system with Os X installed, and how it runs. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not a fan of Macs, but I do have one suggestion to put it to good use.

Start Folding!

Get the Mac OSX text console one.

Lol, yes if you have a network folding would certainely put it to good use.

If you plan to do much with it I would suggest to get a proper mouse for it. Those strange circular mice are one of the worst things Apple ever made IMO.

Heh, that is just an example image - its not my actual G3. I've just installed OS X on it, and its beautiful.. I'm going to add 512MB RAM to its current 128 and upgrade the 6GB hard disk to either a 20 or a 40GB drive.
