The Herald-Democrat (North Texas) reports that an 18-year-old broke into a home and stole an unspecified game for the Nintendo Wii.

The young man then apparently felt guilty, so he brought the Wii game back and returned it to the owner. He also offered the owner a bag of marijuana by way of apology, but she refused.

The thief’s thoughtful - albeit illegal - gesture was negated the following day when he returned and re-stole the Wii game. From the newspaper report:

Quote:
The woman said she believed the man ended up selling the game to purchase drugs. She told White that every time she sees the man, he has narcotics on his person and on several occasions he told her that he has cocaine, Xanax and marijuana for sale.

…the man was arrested on marijuana possession charges and police obtained a warrant to check his house for more drugs…

Hehe too bad he broke into her house again and stole the game again. I guess that kinda nullified any sense of good will.
