Today I was lucky enough to try and test Microsoft Fingerprint Scanner.
Although it looks sexy, and its cool when you place your finger on the scanner and you dont have to enter any passwords to access your computer and websites, it still lacks the security you would expect, for example your passwords still have to enter in your usernames and passwords into this software programe which then enables you to log into your personal computer space, however you can also enter sites which need password access. However this is easily hacked into by any serious hacker who could get in through the internet.
So really its not as secure as it seems, another flaw to the fingerprint scanner is that the finger can be copied and transfered onto the actuall fingerprint scanner, therefore defeating the object as a security feature, I would reccommend anyone interested in buying a fingerprint scanner to invest in a more reliable scanner, which has the correct security features and will protect your identity.
