This is the second IE6 Virtual Image Microsoft has released. The previous Virtual Image is due to expire on April 1st, 2007. This new Virtual Image will not expire until July 23rd, 2007. By then, Microsoft will most likely release a third Virtual Image for IE6 Application Compatibility.
I downloaded and set up the Virtual Image. Works like a charm. Once you download the Virtual Image, run the executable which will extract the Virtual Hard Disk file to where ever you desire on your system. After that is done, open Virtual PC 2007 (free download) and setup a new Virtual Machine through the New Virtual Machine Wizard. Go through the steps and once you get to the point where it asks you if you want to use a existing Virtual Hard Disk or create a new one - choose use existing Virtual Hard Disk and locate the recently extracted IE6 Virtual Hard disk.
