I wanted something huge to replace my current monitor and I think this is the way to go.

I also have this in my site just in case I am wanting something else and don't want to blow a grand on a single thing:

Which side are you leaning towards?

Tough choice.  Honestly, for desktop space, you don't gain a whole lot from the 1080p, however, you do get that nice boost in games and videos.

I don't know if I could justify the nearly 3x price.

4 inches, really.

When I measure 4 inches, that is a huge difference.

I'm going for the 20.1\" anyways. I spent most of my money already on an iAudio and what not.

Yeah, I would go for the LG. It's a good display.

Both look to be good monitors, but for the price, I would have to choose the LG, even though it is quite a bit smaller.

I still haven't bought a new monitor. $2,000.00 can go fast. I still don't know what the hell I bought that wasted $2,000.00. XD

Anyways, it's either the LG or the Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW.

http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_UltraSharp_24...38.html?tag=lst

Around $200.00 cheaper than the BenQ. Same size too and nothing but good reviews. :)

Which would you guys go for?

I'm a BF2 fanatic, so I hope either monitor should be able to work wonders with the game. I also want it to view videos well and all that.

Next, I'll upgrade my CPU and my graphics card. Have to play BF2 on the lowest settings. :(
