We have to admit that we had our doubts when Nintendo first announced the Game Boy Micro. It sounded like a gimmicky, miniaturized GBA targeted at trendy gamers. Well, it is--but the Game Boy Micro offers a great display that makes it an attractive upgrade for people who already own a Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP. The screen quality is extremely sharp thanks to a tighter dot pitch, and brightness is excellent--much better than the DS, GBA, and GBA SP displays. However, we have to wonder how many people will actually buy a $99 Game Boy Micro, which can play only GBA games, when the Nintendo DS is now available for $129. -- Link
