BETA DRIVERS FROM the eager-beaver technicians at Graphzillahave something of a cult following, with green team fanbois picking apart everyminor release for hints about future updates and products. The latest, carryingthe version number 174.93, carries a few hints.
The driver is dated April 13, and is the latest update after the 174.88 beta, which landed two days prior. We're not sure by what exacting methodology thegreen team increments its driver numbering, but obviously this latest one isexactly 0.05 better than the first one.
The news from the crack team of driver groupies is that the latest releasecarries product strings for as-yet-unannounced cards: a G94 9600 GS, G96 9500GS, and G98 9300 GE and GS. Given the existing plethora of retail cards in themid-low range from Nvidia, it's fair to assume that these are a bunch of variantOEM SKUs.
The leaked driver is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit XP and Vistaiterations, and those with an inclination to give it a whirl will have some joyhere.
