Antec lately has not been impressing me at all. There SP PSU's are not very powerful and the TPII's fan is a joke. For overclocking I do not see myself recommendeing any current Antec models.

I would. What do you mean by SP and TBII?
Their TruePower and NeoPower series are excellent

From an OCing standpoint the SP series is just not good. The TPII is good from an electrical standpoint, but the fan is a poor choice and there is a 1/8\" gap between the fan's frame and the power supply's lid. The problem with the fan is that it is a high-output design rather then a \"high-pressure\" design which is not well suited to this application. So really the PSU does not cool properly. If this issue was fixed it would be a great PSU, but if you replace the fan yourself you will void your warranty. Also with the price of TPII's it should not have these problems. The neopower also lacks functional ventilation.
That is why I really cannot recommend anyone of them. The SP series is weak and the Antcs equiped with 120mm fans lack functional ventilation.

I cannot say much about your point of views. TruePower has always been excellent, and is recommended for anyone. I've seen so many high-powered rigs (including Athlon FX + SLI) powered by Antec's TruePower 550W, and they've never had problems.

I have seen plenty of high-end rigs powered by crappy PSU's. Just because they work at that time does not mean it is a good buyers choice.
To power an Athlon 64 FX55 with dual 6800 Ultra's in SLI with 1GB of RAM and the use of Raptors requires quite a stable power supply unit. If the Antec power supply was crappy, then it would not hold up very long.

As I already said from an electrical standpoint the PSU is great, but the fan choice and mounting is terrible.
