Very interesting read.  Looks like Intel will get the jump on AMD on the onset, but AMD is opting for the monolith design first and Intel will move to it later.

I doubt it will change the market share much at all. Fans of AMD will just.. wait, because they know it will be worth it.

I think that Quad core is a bad idea. only 5% of the programs out there are designed for dual core and then they would have to redesign their programs again to accommodate quad core. I don't think Quad core is out yet at least for Intel i don't see it on Newegg.
