RCT3 Problem

I keep having the same problem for RCT3 (Roller Coaster Tycoon 3) :S

I installed it and when I try to open it it says plz insert cd..
So theres a patch included so I go to the map of the patch, I open the patch , it opens, my screen becomes black and after 5 seconds it closes and gives an error (In RCT3 is een fout opgetreden en moet worden afgesloten, onze excuses voor dit ongemak... raport verzenden, niet verzenden blablabla)
What do I have to do with the patch? Earlier I had another RCT3 and had the same problem. So I think I need to put the patch somewhere or I need to change something.

Help me plz

try putting the patch in the same folder as your rtc 3 is installed
than run it. If that doesn't work i'll get you a crack

hmm well the folder where I installed the game has a map with the patch in it, so..

I think I'm just doing something wrong and no other patch is needed :S and the folder (map) where it is installed is just on my desktop not in my program files, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

well, mostly a patch needs to be placed in the same folder ( map ) as the .exe file is in.

Well I tried the other patch, didn't work eather , I just think I'm doing something wrong :S

I just need to cut that cdpatch and paste it into the folder where my exe is in? That's what I did and when I open the exe it keep saying no cd.. and when I open the cdpatch I get an error. :S

oke get daemon tools so you never need a cd anymore. you just run daemon tools in the background...

well I've got daemontools, but theres nothing to mount

Tried virtual drive, nothing to mount eather...

Is there a version of RCT3 where I just can play without that fkn goddamned patch ? Just mount that sh*t like a normal game? getting damn pissed here , tried everything by now

so what exactly is the problem? with virtual drive (or daemon tools) you can mount the right file and it will play. for example with daemon tools you go to your virtual CD/ DVD-rom, make a new device, mount the image (example bf2mini-skl.mds ).. I think it's the same or simular with that pro virtual drive.. can you otherwise make a screenshot of your rct3 folder? maybe a file is missing or something..

have you tryed to reinstall and than to try the crack??

Well let's start from the beginning

I (re)installed the game, so what should I do now?
This is my folder:

well. open the folder that say's crack. copy everything that is in there and past it in you rct3 folder. This will probably ask you to overwrite your rct3.exe file. press ok (or yes, whatever) and try to run it. If that doesn't work, well, i still got a rct3 version here that i can upload so...

I did what you asked, but it doesn't ask anything when I past the crack into my folder
