For America to continue to reap the benefits of glo¬balization and to lead the world in demonstrating how globalization progresses and evolves, a solid and public commitment to advancing open market policies should evolve.

Take for example the effect of offshore outsourcing legacy projects on Australian businesses. In a positive turn of events, Australian businesses are actually improving their high-end skills and outsourcing has had the most positive impact on the society and economy.

Free trade is about beating poverty and expanding economic opportunity. As today's global economy offers unparalleled opportunities for the U.S., continuing to expand trade by lowering barriers to goods and services is in America's economic interest. Liberal trade policies have created a level of competition in today's open market that stimulates innovation and leads to bet¬ter products, higher-paying jobs, new markets, and increased savings and investment. Small business, a critical component of the U.S. economy, creates two out of every three new jobs and accounts for about one-quarter of America's exports.

The smaller the company, the more hats you'll wear, as CEO. You may be called upon to assume the roles of VP of sales, director of marketing, HR, and much more.

Trying to fit all the roles will soon lead to frustration and you'll accomplish very little. Instead, focus on what it is you do best and select qualified partners to handle the rest. In short, the motto is “Stick to what you do best and outsource the rest”.
