Your Internet Browser in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
Wait... I thought half-arsed features weren't worth having at all. Waste of space etc etc. If you can't do something properly, don't bother giving us the option.

Whereas Safari does the minimalist job I want it to do. It starts up quickly, surfs the web, downloads in the same way that firefox does, bookmarks, and that's it. And it does it WELL.

The Private Browsing tool is actually pretty useful. The zoom function works properly, without breaking every ten minutes or exploding my screen. It shows the browsing history for the last few days in a menu, rather than a sidebar if you aren't using "Private Browsing". Not to mention that the Options section isn't overloaded with stuff I don't give a rat's ass about.

Not only that, but as mentioned, it's very sexy, and works on my PC ^_^

Online gamer murders rival clan member in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
Wait, normal people don't take gaming that seriously?

I need to see a psychiatrist by the sound of it...

I use Safari, it's sexy, does everything firefox does, and unlike Opera, it doesn't eat bittorrent links with it's own ****ty client. ^_^

FEAR 2 Announced! in Gaming
ign.com.au wrote:

One of the most thrilling single player shooting experiences in the last couple of years was undoubtedly Monolith's F.E.A.R.. It combined jaw-clenching scares with well-crafted firefights in claustrophobic arenas, making for an experience few gamers will forget. Developer Monolith and Warner Bros. are hoping to deliver even bigger on the action and frights when they release a sequel and they're looking for your help to make a new name for the game.

I personally really enjoyed the original, and now I plan to buy a copy of extraction point, just so I can get the FULL backstory. No spoilers please >_>. What do you guys think?

They've also asked us to rename the new FEAR, since Vivendi, the publisher which owns the rights to the original name, has decided to bitch and moan, and not let Warner use it. I'd enter, but it's Americans only. Bastards >_>

Do U Like U S A in The Great Debates!
It's called news. I happen to read it. Stuff like say, reuters, the new york times. I am quite able to have an opinion. Biznatch. And besides, I like being Biased. Oh and as my ammunition, I simply wish to say that America has George W Bush. That is all.

Unsticky time. I have no idea why a potential flamewar was stickied.

Girl gamers in The Great Debates!
What pisses me off about gaming is the fact that all girls are seen as a sideshow attraction when playing games like CSS and BF2142.

As for the gender confusion: If in doubt "Tits or GTFO"

Pirated Software per computer per country: Debate in Business and Industry in Gaming, Media, Web, IT and Computing
It's not quite that simple. After coding Ubuntu for several years you really start to appreciate the Microsoft system a lot. And Microsoft is the easiest to use bar none. Some people barely know how to turn a computer on, how are  you going to learn Ubuntu, or Fedora without knowing how to use Windows very well?

And it's also an error in the way of software, almost no software is available for use by Linux, anything that is is freeware, but nothing like as good as their Windows counterparts.

40% of kids regularly visit forbidden sites in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
I could do all of that when I was 13. I can still do it now. And if my parents had all my paswords, and knew every place I was going, I'd be rightfully screwed. Bigtime.

Until about a month ago, I knew approximately 30 out of the 300+ people on my contact list. Now I still only know about 30 of the 100+ people on my contact list irl.

Although I can't say I've surfed when my parents are asleep without their consent (despite the fact I'm regularly up that late at night using the interbutts). I'm just usually home alone.

Anyone familiar with 4chan? If so, are you familiar with /b/(tards)?

Yeah, if you are you understand.
