Then again PCs aren't solely for gaming and have a bunch of other things you can do with them. Since they aren't so completely devoted inpurpose even by nature the console will often be the better bet. Besides, how can you use Dell to compare them? From what I've seen Dell'sprimary service is custom PCs and while preconfigured systems are just lovely and they probablyhave a price guideline set out for you, is that $600 PC something off the shelf or something you put together for an example using the best gaming parts that money can buy?
There is enough pollutants from the mass industrialization caused by humans' need for things that it's gotten to the point in some places where holding a radioactive battery to your head so you can talk to your friends isn't anymore dangerous than breathing.
ome are calling it the 'WoW effect', so many people have gone to play World of Warcraft its causing financial issues for rival games. It has apparently caused an increase in monthly memberships for said games and, apparently, a decline in interest for the multiplayer online market.
I saw someone's sig and it wasn't until that point I realised this site only seems to have content for video games. What about tabletop games? Like thisone I've ben fond of since I was but a wee lad.

There is warhammer, which is a a fantasy version. The idea is you have a bunch of models which you place on a table to represent an army. depending on what they are and what they are equipped with determines what the can do in terms of movement and destruction. It also determines the points they cost so you have to be strategic even when assembling a force, since battle will have limits(1,00 points, 1,500, 2,00). In warhammer youhave your orcs andelves, but also some original guys such as the Skaven(rat men) and Lizardmen.
I however play 40k, which is a sci-fi version that takes place in the 41st century where the galaxy has ben torn apart by war. Humanity ison the brink of extinction and lives in an empire protected by space marines. Then there are numerous alien factions you can choose from.
The models are pricey, but you wouldn't beleive the detail these guys can get on a 3cm tall pile of plastic. Plus, it's a fun strategy war game. Anyone else already familiar with it?
PS2 has online features too, though. Never tried xbox live but my cousin spends a lot of time playing battlefield 2 for PS2 over the internet. Also, I don't know about xbox but PS2 can play games not online for PS2 but PS and doubles as a DVD player. I got a PS when I was 7, I'm biased, can you tell?
I once thought it was a myth but lately I have become MUCH more comfortable with firefox, and i don't know if it was just the contents of the windows but in task manager found that IE averages between 30-40 MB of RAM whereas firefox is about 16-18(on the times I've checked). When I'm multitasking(sometimes I will have 10 or more windows of varying things open) it is smoother to have firefox. Plus I use a plugin called FireFTP which runs through firefox for a site I administrate.
